Daily Baby Update

Nope, nothing to report. I'm stiff and achy and still have a really sore hip, but that's pretty much the status quo at this point.

Don't worry though, I'm doing what I can, sitting on the exercise ball periodically, drinking that oh-so-yummy raspberry leaf tea, etc. And when Chris gets home, there'll be the accupressure stuff to try again.

In the meantime, I'm working at home, just me and the critters, trying to dump as much of my brain into documentation for the product I work on as possible, while also trying not to get too freaked out by the daily showing of one of my favorite guilty pleasures: A Haunting. In today's episode, a young couple with a toddler plus a baby on the way is being tormented in their home (cupboard doors opening, shower turning on, strange voices on the baby monitor--spooky!--an old lady and other apparitions appearing in the house, etc). Freaks me out every time, yet I just can't resist. This one isn't as creepy as some, but also doesn't seem as far-fetched in some ways.

Uh-oh, an investigator just found that the couple's house was sold to them for a price far lower than the standard for the neighborhood. Not a good sign!

Okay, I know, enough with the ghost stuff. One last note though: I do fully intend to post photos of the baby's room, as well as a few improvements we've made to Sam's room, but I'm having some problems with our computer. I'm going to make another attempt this evening and hope to have something to share soon. The room looks really cute, particularly now that we've got some art on the walls. Katy got two really cool prints for the baby and had them framed, and I dug out a beautiful family quilt with butterflies on it that Chris's mother gave us. By pinning loops of ribbon to the top edge of the quilt and hanging a curtain rod along one wall, we've been able to temporarily turn it into a really cool wall hanging. When the baby is older, we can always take it down and use it for a bedspread, but we can still enjoy it in the meantime.

Sam saw the quilt yesterday and said: "Look what Daddy did for you, Mumma! It looks so nice!"
